Senior Territory Account Manager - Emergency Response, Industrial, Environmental, Remediation and Waste Services (Cincinnati, OH)

As a Senior Territory Account Manager, you will influence a group of Territory Account Managers (TAMs) to drive sales growth through external and internal business partners for the purpose of continued growth of TAMs and profitability within a collaborative culture. Senior Territory Account Managers are expected to continue to lead sales growth at their branch location in addition to leading others.

Our Cincinnati branch office is located at 2135 Schappelle Lane, Cincinnati, OH 45240

Responsibility:

  • Partner with Vice President of Sales & Marketing to lead a team that generates sales and growth in an assigned geographic area through coaching, mentoring, and training
  • Drive understanding and adoption of key business tools and resources
  • Assist in identifying and developing future leaders and strong contributors
  • Drives accountability, new opportunity development, customer relations and customer retention
  • Collaborative with internal business partners to creatively bid and execute sales growth
  • Actively lead TAMs to prioritize tasks to justify individual time and resources
  • Develop and co-own personal contacts with key customers
  • Partner with Chief Commercial Officer to leverage appropriate pricing strategy to guide team to most profitable business growth
  • Influence TAMs toward high quality leads and assist in ride-along mentoring with team members
  • Support TAMs in identification, negotiation, and implementation of new emergency response (ER), in-plant services, and waste agreements
  • Regularly provide solutions through partnership with team to match HEPACO’s service offerings with customer challenges

  • Encompasses leadership skills to assess, coach, counsel, and develop others
  • Possesses excellent presentation skills, strong customers focus, and effectively lead through change
  • Proven track record of successful internal partnerships that result in the achievement of sales and operational objectives and revenue
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand financial reporting to recognize branch opportunities
  • Advanced user of HEPACO’s customer relationship management (CRM) tool
  • Receptive to continued feedback and leadership coaching
  • Ability to listen and gain trust with internal and external customers 
  • Function independently with little supervision in performing job duties in addition to leading a team
  • Excellent planning and organization skills

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in sales leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; or any equivalent combination of training, education, experience that demonstrates the ability to successfully lead a team
  • Position is based to work remotely, although the Senior TAM must live in the Cincinnati area.
  • Ability to travel within local territory with occasional overnight travel. 
  • Proficient in data analysis and Microsoft Excel
