The role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day aspects of the shared services accounts payable function at Omni.

• Manage and direct the workflow and daily operations of accounts payable processing of corporate and project accounting invoices in a shared services environment.
• Coordinate, train and provide guidance to the off-shore AP team.
• Manage cash disbursements including check, ACH, virtual card and wire payments
• Manage vendor statement review and resolution of vendor discrepancies
• Handle unusual or difficult customer service inquiries/situations through direct personal action or refers to the appropriate individual
• Provide assistance and guidance to department heads and administrative staff
• Create and maintain deadlines
• Assist with month end close process and communication
• Serve as backup support to invoice processing and supplier maintenance
• Develop, interpret and ensure the consistent application of organization policies
• Evaluate and monitor internal control processes and procedures to improve productivity and effectiveness
• Train and evaluate employees to enhance their performance, development and work product
• Complete the annual reporting of 1099 forms
• Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned

• Bachelors degree or relevant professional experience
• A minimum of 7 years related experience in an Accounts Payable role, of which a minimum of 2 years spent in a supervisory role.
• Experience in a shared services environment is a plus.
• Must have Oracle or other large ERP experience
• Must have 1099 filing experience
• Strong proficiency with computers, especially Microsoft Office software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs
• Ability to work collaboratively with all departments, management levels within the company, and external stakeholders
• Ability to select, guide, develop, and retain a team of employees
• Act as a key role and leader for department projects
• Excellent time management and organization skills including ability to prioritize own work to meet deadlines
