Job Description
The Inside Sales Manager manages and directs an inside sales force in a defined market to achieve sales and profit goals. They will set sales strategies for the Division in accordance with company-wide initiatives and directives, as well as evaluate and implement appropriate sales techniques to increase department’s sales volume. You may recommend products or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. The manager will manage an individual customer base of high profile and/or large customers and is accountable for individual as well as team sales goals.
An Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- BA/ BS in Business Administration or related field required.
- 10 years sales and marketing experience in a carbon steel environment.
- Prior management experience, directly or indirectly leading sales professionals preferred.
- 3 years business development experience with strong customer service skills required.
- Knowledge of customer service standards, products and procedures.
- Proficiency in Lotus Notes, MS Word, PowerPoint, MS Excel applications and production control computer systems.
