Olymbec USA LLC is Hiring a Receptionist Near Memphis, TN

Classification: Non-exempt, salaried

Reports to: General Manager

Summary/Objective

This position welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. As a receptionist you will always serve as a positive first impression of the company, while handling the daily responsibilities of a receptionist with efficiency and ease. You will provide information to customers and visitors and maintain an organized front desk.

Essential Functions

  • Answer phone inquiries, direct calls, and provide basic company information
  • Perform clerical duties, takes memos, maintain files, organize documents, etc.
  • Monitor front desk and comply with all security procedures for visitors
  • Oversee mail deliveries, packages and couriers
  • Track and create purchase orders for all office supplies
  • Assist Dispatch when needed
  • Deposit checks
  • Provide administrative support as needed
  • Itemize vendor invoices

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Typical workweek is forty (40) hours per week. Work hours are determined by your supervisor. During peak times and seasonal extreme weather-related events, position may require longer hours. 

Required Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. Two (2) years’ experience
  2. High level computer skills
  3. Customer service background

Must be able to legally work in the United States.
