Norton Rose Fulbright is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to develop and execute test scripts against client/server and web-based application using quality assurance methodologies and test management applications. The ideal candidate will be proficient with Excel and other core Microsoft applications, have experience with QM testing software and experience with test management tools.

This position is a temporary role with the potential to convert to a long-term hire. The role is ideally located in Houston, Texas. The individuals may work remotely, however may be required in the office from time to time pursuant to the firm's hybrid working policy. The position reports into the Quality Assurance Manager.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Define test coverage, create, and maintain test cases and reporting test results
• Maintain regression test scripts/testing scenarios and criteria
• Triage difficult problems and drive them to solution
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners and leads to understand the requirements
• Exhibit a strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Develop and maintain standards for quality assurance methods, processes, systems, and defect tracking tools

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in technology or business-related field
• Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on-testing various applications including web-based, client, and desktop
• Experience in testing maintenance and upgrading software on a regular basis
• Experience in translating requirements and legacy test cases into effective and more efficient updated test cases
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Agile and other testing tools
• Experience with test automation and one or more of the industry standard test Automation tools
• Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
