Performance Contracting is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Assistant for it's operations based in Houston, Texas. This individual will also be responsible for the following duties:

Ability to assist the Management team with development and publication of procedures, instructions, and documentation control is necessary.
• Experience with performance of supplier audits, and the ability to be trained to become a nuclear Lead Auditor required.
• Familiarity with Corrective Action processes and closures of corrective actions.
• Ability to perform various Quality Assurance and Quality Control roles as needed to address the needs of the business.
• Ability to document supplier nonconformances and monitor supplier performance, and report results to the management team.

• Read blueprints and specifications to ensure that operations meet production standards
• Inspect and test materials and services provided by the company
• Ability to perform all job duties and associated work functions in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience working in Quality Assurance, Auditing, or other related disciplines
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the year

Minimum Requirements:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught
• Customer service skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask

Preferred Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Quality Control Supervisor
• Past experience with the nuclear industry, or a similarly regulated industry is preferred.
• Local to the Houston Metro area
