Associate of arts or bachelor’s degree. Three years experience at any UNC System university. Demonstrated competency with AggieMart, P Card and T Card management, Zoom scheduling and hosting. Experience in Banner financial module.

Position Overview
Primary Purpose of Position
This role entails offering administrative assistance to the Associate Vice Chancellor for University Relations and the Office of University Relations, which serves as the primary communications hub for North Carolina A&T State University. Duties involve aiding in the smooth operation of the Associate Vice Chancellor’s office, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, organizing documents, and handling correspondence. Additionally, supporting the Office of University Relations involves tasks related to communication efforts such as drafting and disseminating press releases, managing social media accounts, coordinating events, and facilitating internal and external communication initiatives. The administrative support provided is instrumental in ensuring effective communication and coordination within the university community and beyond. This role likely requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit
University Relations leads all marketing communications activities for North Carolina A&T: Media relations, social media, web communications, print collateral, graphic design, photography, video production, marketing/advertising and senior executive communications support.
Work Hours
8 a.m. to 5 p.m., M - F
