Become a key player in Finance:
The Accounts Receivable Clerk is tasked with ensuring prompt payment collection from customers by utilizing project management, organizational, and communication skills. Responsibilities include tracking payments, depositing funds in the bank, and generating regular reports.

Here’s how you’ll make an impact on the team:
  • Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable
  • Generate invoices following company practices and submit them to customers
  • Maintain and update customer files, including changes in name, address, mergers, or mailing attentions
  • Draft correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections; identify delinquent accounts by reviewing files and contact accountholders for payment
  • Create reports on the status of customer accounts upon request
  • Research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts
  • Reconcile accounts receivable periodically
  • Assist in generating monthly billing statements based on the general ledger
  • Assist in reconciling revenue accounts monthly
  • Copy, file, and retrieve materials for accounts receivable as needed
  • Communicate changes of information to appropriate employees
  • Perform other assigned duties

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful in this role:

  • High school diploma; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2-4 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, focusing on accounts receivable
  • Solid technical accounting and analytical skills
  • Effective organizational and time management abilities
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to investigate and resolve problems
  • Able to complete complex tasks with a high level of speed and accuracy
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective planning and communication abilities, demonstrating proficiency in collaborating seamlessly on a high-production team
Pay Range:
$55,000 - $65,000/annually
