Next Jump is Hiring a Strategic Partner Manager Near Sunnyvale, CA

Job Description

We are looking for an inspired individual to join as a lead partner manager, embedded at the client’s site (the giant tech company based in Mountain View, CA). This is a hybrid position, with you working onsite with the client team in Sunnyvale on designated days throughout the week. You will act as a direct liaison between the client and Next Jump, to represent the client’s needs and catalyze product improvements to our global Perks at Work discounts platform. We are looking for strong project management experience and the ability to drive progress forward with minimal oversight. In addition, responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries and helping to grow our discount portfolio globally. Salary will be dependent on the candidate's experience level. 5 years’ experience working in a fast-paced environment is preferred.

Role requirements:

  • Project Management Experience. The ability to take an idea, turn it into a project, (map out a project plan, address challenges, build a timeline, formulate next steps, etc.) and drive progress to completion. You’ll manage communications between multiple teams and keep all relevant stakeholders informed on updates. You’ll be responsible for organizing information in a clear and useful way and ensuring tasks are completed on time with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills. Ability to respond to incoming inquiries effectively and confidently, oftentimes resolving escalated concerns and educating customers on offerings and policies. Able to set clear expectations with stakeholders and users, particularly in challenging situations. Ability to independently write compelling communications and create marketing collateral to be shared with a wide range of audiences. 
  • Sales / Customer Experience. An ability to connect, engage and influence merchants. We’re looking for a collaborative and customer-oriented individual who can exercise critical thinking skills to understand the root of an issue and get to a solution for customers.

Account Management responsibilities:

  • Be the Perks at Work ambassador for the client, to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ownership of brand/merchant proposals and requests from businesses to be launched on Perks at Work – locally, nationally, and globally for the client. Taking ideas and coming up with an action plan, checking in for feedback, owning end to end with minimal oversight.
  • Keep teams organized and communicate updates regularly. Manage ongoing action items and track progress, running weekly agenda items and quarterly business reviews.
  • Work with the product team to improve customer and client experience, proactively resolving problems and play a part in improving products and processes.
  • Work with frontline customer service - especially investigating and resolving escalated customer reports about merchants, and act as an intermediary between customer and merchant. Ability to apply critical thinking, communicate tactfully in difficult situations or with unhappy customers.
  • Collaborate with communication teams to build awareness campaigns.
  • Work with design and engineering teams to optimize the site experience.
