What you can expect:
TheHuman Resources Assistantserves as a member of human resources (HR) and is primarily responsible for executing administrative and Life Cycle events for HR. The position also will manage MYSI’s Human Resources Information System by inputting data and managing an HR Help Desk. This position will also assist the Senior Director of Human Resources on various projects to ensure cultural awareness, compliance and other organizational wide initiatives.
This position is part-time and exempt. The best candidate will understand the unique challenges of our clients, while also remaining committed to driving a workplace culture of transparency and accountability. Discretion and reliability are also extremely celebrated qualities for a candidate for this role. This position reports to the Senior Director of Human Resources.
How you will make an impact:
Responsible for developing and managing a Self-Help model for employees.
Managing and inputting data into MYSI’s Human Resources Information System.
Responsible for guiding new hires through the onboarding experience and ensuring compliance with various procedures.
Auditing information in Human Resources and assisting with any concerns that arise.
Manages eLearning initiatives and ensures compliance with curriculums assigned.
Closelyworks with and assists the Senior Director of Human Resources with developing and interpreting HR strategic goals and initiatives.
Understands the unique responsibility of an HR professional and utilizes the upmost discretion as it relates to proprietary information and employee privacy.
Drives a culture of electronic administrative practices and suggests ways to reduce any dependency on paper forms.
Other duties as assigned.
What you will bring to MYSI Corporation:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalency in professional experience
Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Highly motivated individuals who demonstrate organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills. Initiative and the ability to follow through are essential.
Strong technical and analytical skills, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
Must be able to successfully pass background check.
Believes in the mission and values of MYSI and demonstrates a desire to make a positive impact on those who need it most.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience working with youth/adults living with intellectual disabilities.
At least some experience working with the LGBTQ community.
A high degree of proficiency in HR Information Systems (or an ability to learn quickly).
