Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Roofing Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of superintendent roofing experience and a deep understanding of both commercial and residential roofing projects. As a roofing
superintendent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing roofing projects to ensure timely completion, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management:
Collaborate with project managers and estimators to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate and schedule roofing crews, subcontractors, and materials to meet project requirements.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular inspections to ensure roofing installations meet quality standards and specifications.
Address any deficiencies or issues promptly and ensure proper rectification.
Maintain documentation of quality control processes and inspections.
Safety Compliance:
Enforce safety regulations, protocols, and best practices on roofing sites. Conduct safety meetings and provide training to roofing crews.
Identify and mitigate potential hazards to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.
Communication and Collaboration:
Serve as a point of contact for project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
Communicate project updates, address concerns, and provide progress reports.
Foster effective collaboration and teamwork among roofing crews and subcontractors.
Budget and Cost Control:
Monitor project budgets and expenses to ensure adherence to financial constraints.
Review material orders, manage inventory, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Provide accurate and timely cost reports to project managers.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Roofing Superintendent.
Extensive knowledge and experience in commercial and residential roofing projects.
Strong understanding of roofing materials, installation techniques, and industry standards.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proven ability to plan, organize, and execute roofing projects effectively.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
