Montage Marketing is Hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist Near Washington, DC

Montage is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team. Qualified candidates will have the detail orientation, knowledge, and experience to support both agency and programmatic needs within our finance team.
This is a full-time, exempt position, working a Hybrid schedule at Montage office locations and remote from employee’s home office. Anticipated annual salary for this position is $50,000 - $55,000.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role works in partnership with our staff accountant to ensure the integrity of our accounting processes and procedures within Montage Marketing Group. The AP Specialist will be proactive in managing the full accounts payable cycle, processing expense reports and client invoices, and maintaining Montague’s high quality standard of work and accuracy.
REQUIREMENTS
- Related education preferred
- 3 years’ experience in accounting related field
- Advanced knowledge of database and spreadsheet tools such as Excel and accounting software (experience with Unanet a plus)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively as needed
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactive in managing full A/P cycle
- Ensure timely processing and entry of invoices in Montage’s current financial platform, Unanet
- Maintain precise records of all vendor payments
- Final review of time and expense reports to ensure correct coding, amounts, and receipts
- Liaise with team member to correct any inaccuracies
- Monitor 1099 vendor files for accuracy and up to date W9’s tax reporting
- Complete special projects on an as-needed basis
