Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. is Hiring a Human Resources Manager Near Lake, FL

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Lake Mary, Florida is looking for a Human Resources Manager.
SUMMARY
Partner with business unit senior management to deliver Human Resources solutions that help drive the business and culture by Human Resources support; developing and implementing programs and solutions to attain business objectives; developing and managing cost effective recruiting; and provide high level consultation to management team on employment and labor laws, policy interpretation and application. Work closely with management to promote a workplace environment that successfully balances positive employee relations with the company’s business objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance;
    • Oversee the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization;
    • Recruit, interview, and select employees to fill vacant positions;
    • Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
    • Administer benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance;
    • Keep participation records of benefit plans such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting;
    • Coordinate management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment;
    • Oversees, support and/or perform employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
    • Administer performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization;
    • Administer salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization;
    • Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation, and conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations;
    • Prepare personnel forecast to project employment needs;
    • Contract with outside suppliers to provide employee services, such as temporary employment, transportation, or relocation service;
    • Minimal overnight travel (up to 5%) by land and/or air;
    • Perform other such duties as may be required.

    • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures reporting all unsafe activities to Upper Management;
    • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals;
    • Contribute to building a positive team spirit.
    • Communicate effectively with subordinates and management at all levels;
    • Protect confidential information by not communicating, disclosing to, or using for benefit of third parties;
    • Maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity at all times.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION

  • Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or at least six (6) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Computer Skills: Payroll Software, HRIS Software, and basic personal computer skills including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
