Minuteman Press Central is Hiring an Administrative Assistant Near Minneapolis, MN

Minuteman Press Central is a proud, family-owned business, just across the river from downtown in Northeast Minneapolis. We have been bringing our print knowledge and expertise to our customers in the Twin Cities area for over 35 years. Through our customer-first approach and individualized support, we take great pride in the relationships we develop with our customers and the projects we help them create.

What We Do
Our primary aim is to support our customer’s design, marketing and outreach goals through innovative print, direct mail and signage solutions. Some of our most popular products include booklets, business cards, yard signs, banners, postcards, stickers, promotional items, and much more!

What We Are Looking For
An Administrative Assistant to join our close-knit team. This individual will collaborate with other team members to facilitate effective workflow, establish and maintain productive working relationships with clients and vendors, and see that administrative and prepress tasks are accomplished in an effective and efficient manner. The right attitude and work ethic supersedes experience for this role; we want someone willing to learn, collaborate, and grow with our team.

Who You Are

  • Energetic individual with an upbeat attitude who enjoys assisting customers and can prioritize competing projects
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills
  • Expert in meeting deadlines through organization and time management
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in your work
  • Customer Service experience (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud & Microsoft Office 365 (Preferred)
  • Marketing experience along with print industry knowledge (Preferred)

What You Will Do

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Work directly with customers and colleagues to ensure incoming projects are completed on time and meet high quality standards
  • Manage multiple projects at once and balance competing priorities
  • Be the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and walk ins
  • Schedule Courier, UPS/FedEx and USPS shipments
  • Assist in managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks
  • Organize and file product samples and vendor paperwork
  • Assist staff as needed to ensure no gaps in service to customers

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • No nights
  • No weekends

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (Required)
