Position Description

The HR Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR operations, including but not limited to payroll, recruiting, employee relations, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee onboarding, policy and procedure development, legal compliance, HR analytics, strategic planning, health and safety, and employee engagement.

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement and morale.
  • Handle employee relations issues and conduct investigations as necessary.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and hiring decisions.
  • Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Manage the performance appraisal process to ensure fair and consistent evaluations.
  • Administer and review compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Develop, update, and communicate HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Collect and analyze HR data to inform decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Promote a safe and healthy work environment through the development and implementation of health and safety programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of HR management experience, preferably in a similar industry or company size.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certification such as SHRM-CP or SPHR is a plus.
