Mid City Community Nursing and Rehab is currently seeking a part time Assistant Activity Director!
Duties:
- Plan, schedule and implement a program of individual and group activities based on residentÂ’s schedule.
- Identify and document in the residents care plan, the activity interest, needs, and concerns of the resident. Care plans are reviewed and updated as necessary but at least quarterly
- Document all interaction with resident and/or family in the assessment, care plan and progress notes
- Assist in the planning and conduct activity programs to assist residents to return to the community
- Responsible for the safety of the residents under his/her supervision
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current Louisiana registration or certification
- Must be able to work flexible schedule
- Patient care oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude
