Job Duties include: This position is responsible for coordinatingthe activity program for residents of our community through recreational,educational, spiritual, and life skill programs in a therapeutic manner.

• Exemplify the basic qualities of honesty, integrity, candor, maturity and sound character and able to establish effective interpersonal relationships within the scope of your responsibilities.

• Respond to all staff, residents and family members in a courteous and caring manner that respects the dignity of each person.

• Follow and performs established standards and duties according to organizational and departmental policies and procedures.

• Accurately interpret and assure compliance with established policies and procedures and governing regulation and standards of the residence.

• Interacts with residents on a daily basis in a respectful and cooperative manner.

• Must be able to follow directions accurately and carry out or communicate effectively tasks to other co-workers as needed.

• Offers adequate and diversified recreational activities to residents with sufficient supervision for each activity.

• Motivates and engages residents resulting in program participation.

• Informs residents of upcoming activities and maintains a current schedule of events.

• Greets new residents making a special effort to include and engage them in activities and introduce them to others on the campus with similar interests and backgrounds.

• Assists in planning parties and activities as well as decorating the campus according to the season and/or holiday throughout the years as well as assisting with monthly birthday parties to honor residents.

Qualifications:

• Must have strong organizational skills

• Knowledge of state survey process

• Must be an effective communicator and team builder

• Must have a Valid Driver's License
