ACCOUNTS PAYABLE & RECEIVABLE SPECIALISTMGM Brakes, a division of Indian Head Industries, Inc., is the leading supplier of spring brake actuators and service chambers for domestic and global truck, trailer, bus and specialty vehicles for the commercial vehicle industry. We are currently seeking a highly enthusiastic individual for our Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist position, located in our Charlotte, N.C. corporate office.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The primary responsibilities of this role are processing all Cloverdale manufacturing plant invoices into accounts payable, ensuring they have all the proper support and approvals and generating vendor payments on a timely basis. This position will also be responsible for applying cash receipts to accounts receivable daily. They will maintain and file all related documents for Cloverdale and Murphy manufacturing plants for both cash receipts and collections. In addition, this position must communicate with vendors to help resolve any payment and invoice issues and with customers to help resolve any collection issues. This role will also assist with some accounting functions including account reconciliations, general journal entries and help support the monthly closing process.
