Structural Integrity Associates is Hiring an Accounts Receivable (AR) Billing Specialist Near Charlotte, NC
- Respond to billing inquiries and requests in a professional, proficient manner
- Maintain, update & review all client contract data into billing system module
- Generate monthly draft invoices from accounting software and distribute to appropriate Project Manager (PM) for review prior to sending final client invoice
- Support Project Managers, Project Accountants, Engineers, and other internal staff to help maintain project completeness and provide Ad-hoc reports as needed
- Manage & track collection of unpaid invoices
- Apply cash receipts and post daily check/wire deposits (on-line bank) for all SI business units
- Complete assigned month-end closing activities within defined deadlines
- Cross-train with other billing team members for coverage and support
- Participate in regular staff/ops meetings to keep processes, procedures, and guidelines current and up to date
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business and department needs
- High School diploma. AA Degree required
- Minimum 5 years of general accounting experience
- 3 years accounts receivable billing experience is required, preferably in the consulting/ professional service industry
- Detail-oriented and ability to problem solve
- Strong organizational skills, possess flexibility to manage shifting priorities to meet department goals, commitments and deadlines
- Be solutions oriented and forward thinking
- Ability to communicate effectively with both verbal and written skills
- Strong customer service focus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required
- Deltek Software preferred but not required
- NetSuite preferred but not required
- VantagePoint preferred but not required
