Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Compliancewith all TSA, DOT and Customs regulations (US and Foreign)
• Preparationand execution of freight negotiations with agents, dispatchers, deugrooverseas offices, etc.
• Coordinationof transport processes with warehouses, forwarders and suppliers
• Organisationof inland and airfreight shipments
• Takingover the entire communication with overseas
• Carryingout continuous training and familiarisation of new colleagues or teammembers
• Checking and approving incominginvoices, creation of billing invoices
• Preparationof outgoing invoices and shipping documents of all kinds
• Trackingand tracing of freight to destination
• Checkingof shipping orders
• Generaldispatch processing incl. customer service
• Informscustomerofunitprices,shippingdate, anticipated delays,andanyadditionalinformation needed by customer
• Ensuringaccurate and thorough documentation of all projects and related mattersincl. filing and archiving of all important documents

What you can contribute:

• Minimum3-5 years of Freight Forwarding experience required
• HighSchool diploma or general education degree (GED), some higher educationpreferred; and three to five years related experience and/or training: orequivalent combination of education and experience
• Passingthe IATA Dangerous Goods by Air, Excluding Radioactive Cat 3 will be requiredin order to remain in this position
• Understandingof TACT and IATA rules and regulations
• Experiencein working in different time zones and different cultures
• Computerskills - MS Windows 7, MS Office
• Positiveattitude and problem solving ability in a fast paced working environment
• MultitaskingSkills - Able to handle various assignments in daily coordination withoverseas offices
• Creativethinking and open to new ideas
• Excellentcommunication - Verbal & Written
• Focus- Pay attention to the customer's needs and commit to exceeding them
