Job Description: Join our team as a Construction Project Manager and take charge of executing projects to the satisfaction of both our clients and our company. Your role will involve managing scheduling, tracking estimated versus actual man hours, pricing change orders, overseeing material procurement and delivery logistics, conducting site visits for quality inspection, and conducting regular meetings with Project Managers (PMs) and Superintendents (Supers).
Key Functions of the Position:
Project Management: Schedule projects, track estimated versus actual man hours, and price change orders during construction.
Team Development: Develop the capabilities and workload of management and production staff.
Material Procurement: Manage all aspects of material procurement and delivery logistics.
Effective Communication: Conduct subcontractor meetings and communicate regularly with Supers and PMs.
Overview of Position: As the Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of awarded projects. This includes managing schedules, tracking estimated versus actual man hours, pricing change orders, overseeing billing processes, conducting daily site visits to monitor progress and quality, and conducting weekly meetings with PMs and Supers.
Education/Experience: Ideally, candidates should possess a 2- or 4-year college degree or have a minimum of 2 years of experience in construction or project management.
Typical Division of Time:
Scheduling/Man Hours Tracking: 5-10 hours per week
Pricing Change Orders: 5-10 hours per week
Material Procurement: 5-10 hours per week
Weekly Meetings with PMs/GCs: 5-10 hours per week
Daily Site Visits: 5-10 hours per week
Note: This position typically requires 40-50 hours of work per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional work on Saturdays.
