Responsibilities:
- Research prospective donors, grant opportunities, and corporate sponsorships to bolster fundraising efforts.
- Assist in planning and executing fundraising campaigns and events, including donor cultivation events, galas, and online fundraising initiatives.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors, effectively communicating the impact of their support and stewarding their contributions.
- Prepare grant proposals, sponsorship packages, and other fundraising materials to solicit support from individuals, foundations, and corporations.
- Manage donor databases and CRM systems to meticulously track donor interactions, gifts, and stewardship activities.
- Coordinate donor acknowledgment and recognition efforts, including thank-you letters, plaques, and donor appreciation events.
- Assist in generating fundraising reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in fundraising and nonprofit development.
- Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, fundraising, communications, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, or donor relations is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating the organization's mission and impact to diverse audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, adept at building rapport and fostering relationships with donors and stakeholders.
