Mastery Logistics Systems is Hiring a Remote Group Product Manager

About the Role

The transportation industry has no shortage of complex problems requiring creative solutions to scale efficiently. In this role, you will help solve those problems by leading a Product team to delivery major components of Mastery's Transportation Management System (TMS) from inception through delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Manage strategy and delivery for an entire domain of Mastery's Transportation Management System by serving as its end-to-end leader and accountable owner
  • Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers and Product Analysts to drive the execution of your roadmap, acting as a player/coach and sounding board for ideas and solutions whilst also providing ongoing feedback to grow their skills and advance their careers
  • Collaborate with with other Group Product Managers to align and execute on cross domain dependencies
  • Foster strong relationships with key partners, inside and outside of the business to source feedback, generate actionable insights, and ensure continual alignment of roadmap to customer needs and Mastery's strategic vision
  • Work closely with engineering team(s) to manage development of product features
  • Develop measures for understanding product feature success
  • Develop a deep understanding of Mastery's users and act as an advocate for their needs

Requirements

  • 5 years of Product Management experience in Logistics or Supply Chain; prior people management experience preferred
  • 3 years of experience with customer engagement/customer facing roles preferred
  • Track record of successfully launching and growing B2B software products
  • Understanding of SaaS models and the technology layers required to support web applications
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Obsesses over getting the details right but knows how to ship on time
  • Possess a big picture mind set in combination with the ability to always think beyond a single project or business domain
  • Experience documenting complex workflows and visualizations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Compassion and empathy

Our customers – large transportation companies and shippers who need those companies – have struggled with systems that are outdated or inadequate.
