The primary responsibility of the Supervisor – Accounts Payable and Procurement is to record transactions in accordance with GAAP and the policies and procedures established by DeSimone Gaming. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental policies, practices, and procedures.

• Take responsibility of daily data entry associated with accounts payable invoices
• Match invoices with receivers, purchase orders and requisitions.
• Code invoices to proper general ledger accounts.
• Responsible for all inquiries related to invoices/payments, answering phone calls/e-mails and liaising with appropriate department managers to resolve in a professional and timely manner
• Prepare and review payment runs for accuracy, payment terms and proper approval.
• Maintain required Accounts Payable documents and record when necessary.
• Set up and maintain vendor accounts while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Research and reconcile monthly vendor statements.
• Communicate problems or discrepancies to management in a timely and efficient manner
• Guide and assist other departments by clearly communicating current accounting and budgeting policies and procedures as well as composing and disseminating new procedures and policies as necessitated by best practices and changes in federal and state regulations.
• Responsible for generating 1099-NEC in a timely manger to meet IRS deadline
• Assist in month end close by ensuring all invoices are processed and posted to correct month.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 - 5 years of progressive, accounts payable experience.
• Must have exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must be proficient in Excel.
• Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple work assignments while meeting deadlines.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and ever-changing environment.
• Should be familiar with 1099 requirements.
• Must take initiative and independently resolve problems.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with vendors and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.

• Must be able to work varied shifts, which may include weekends and holidays.

Preferred

• Experience working in similar resort setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft office products (Word, Excel) and Super Playmate or similar software.
