MARCUM is Hiring a Human Resources Intern Near Washington, DC
The Marcum Human Resources team in Washington, DC is looking for a Human Resources Intern to support the Human Resources Manager, Human Resources Generalist and Recruiters with administrative duties, running reports, and ad hoc projects. The Human Resources Intern should have an interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources, and be a self-starter who is detail oriented. Strong communication skills are a must.
Responsibilities to include:
- Data entry into the HRIS system including new hire information, transfers, personnel changes, and terminations.
- Assist in performance management cycles.
- Support full-cycle recruiting, including reference and background checks.
- Ad hoc reporting and filing.
- Assist in office event planning.
- Assist with other ad hoc HR administrative duties.
REQUIREMENTS
- Currently pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree focusing on Human Resources or related field, or recent graduate with a degree on Human Resources.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
