Overview: Mamajuana Cafe Restaurant and Lounge is a vibrant and fast-paced establishment known for its unique ambiance, delicious cuisine, and exceptional service. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team and lead our operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Overall Operations Management:

   • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and lounge.
   • Ensure smooth and efficient functioning of all departments, including kitchen, bar, dining areas, and private events.
   • Implement and maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety.

2. Team Leadership and Training:

   • Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff.
   • Foster a positive work environment and provide ongoing coaching and development to enhance team performance.
   • Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and address any issues or concerns promptly.

3. Customer Experience and Satisfaction:

   • Ensure guests receive exceptional service and have a memorable dining experience.
   • Monitor customer feedback and reviews, addressing any concerns and implementing improvements as needed.
   • Maintain a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for guests and handle any guest inquiries or complaints effectively.

4. Financial Management:

   • Manage budgets, costs, and expenses to optimize profitability while maintaining quality standards.
   • Monitor sales trends, analyze financial reports, and implement strategies to drive revenue and reduce costs.
   • Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling food and beverage costs.

5. Compliance and Regulations:

   • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, as well as licensing and legal requirements.
   • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices, implementing changes as necessary.
   • Uphold Mamajuana Cafe's policies and procedures, promoting a culture of integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations with composure.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, inventory management, and customer service.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred.
