We are seeking a General Manager to join our team and lead us forward while safe guarding the quirky bar we have always been. As one of Fishtown's last hold out dive bars, we work hard to preserve our neighborhood's staple in its rapidly changing environment. We endeavor to protect the comfort zone which our patrons have come to think of as home. 
Our bar has a large personality. An excelent candidate will enjoy nuturing this personality and should posess the ability to balance the following business duties: 

- Oversee all business operations

- Employee communications, shift scheduling, performance evaluations, training, hiring, and firing.

- Coordinating weekly entertainment, special events and monthly event calendar with some social media.

- Cultivating and maintaining business relationships with new and existing vendors.

- Management and tracking of inventory, supply orders, payments, and deliveries.

- Maintaining beer tap cleaning records.

- Banking, and preparing banks for employee shifts.

- Sending end of month financial reports to the accountant.

- Revenue generation and cost control.

- Insuring licensing requirements and certifications are up to date.

- Must have or be willing to acquire appropriate Serve Safe, Ramp certications and etc.

- Maintaining open communication with the owner.

Qualifications:

- 3 years in the restaurant/bar industry

- 2 years bar management OR 4 years other management experience.

- Computer proficiency, email communications and use of Word processing and spreadsheet programs.

- Must have consistent and relaible vehicle access for supply and banking runs.
