The National Account Manager is primarily responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts. This position will support regional sales managers to increase sales and profitability.
Knowledge, Education, and Experience
Bachelor's degree in business administration or relevant field preferred. Must have at least five years of relevant experience. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and database programs. Must possess solid, proven work experience in sales or sales management.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication, and PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously are also essential. Strong management skills, detail-oriented, flexible, and able to prioritize multiple projects with strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organization, administrative, and creative problem-solving skills are required. Able to communicate to all levels of organization in all settings (from individual to large group).
Must be very approachable, develop strong professional relationships, and foster involvement at all levels of the organization. Must have the ability to lead and motivate team members. A valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record (MVR) with knowledge of the surrounding geographical market.
Demonstrated experience and a proven record of working with minimal supervision, self-motivation, and personal time management. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Customer Relations Software packages, and standard office equipment. Proven work experience as a sales representative in a related field.
