Job Description

The HR- Payroll Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the human resources department by assisting with various tasks related to employee data management, timesheet monitoring, payroll processing, benefits administration, documentation, and other HR functions as required.

Essential Functions

  1. Maintain employee records and ensure that all data is up-to-date and accurately entered into HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
  2. Assist in processing payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner.
  3. Assist in administering employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
  4. Prepare and distribute various HR-related documents, such as offer letters, benefits guide, and employee handbooks.
  5. Respond to employee inquiries regarding timesheets, payroll, benefits, and expenses.
  6. Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company guidelines.
  7. Provide administrative support to the HR department, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
  8. Reviewing and auditing vendors’ invoices before submitting them to finance for processing.
  9. Coordinate staff FMLA, STD, LTD, and life claims with UNUM and keep track of them.
  10. Assist in training new hires on HRIS and its proper use.
  11. Responding employment and income verification requests as well as other emails asking for information from UNUM or other vendor.
  12. Keep eyes on 401K enrollment and make sure the eligible team members are getting matches
  13. Any other relevant task assigned .

Qualifications


Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in payroll administration, HR administration, or related field preferred.

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
