Position Overview:At the heart of our vibrant sales team, the Customer Service Representative role is pivotal in enhancing our customer experience and streamlining our sales processes. You'll be the anchor between our customers and sales managers, ensuring that every order is a testament to our commitment to excellence. Your proactive approach will resolve any challenges swiftly, leaving our customers delighted and loyal.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Advocacy:Collaborate with the sales team to meet customer needs and take charge of resolving any customer challenges, aiming to enhance the customer experience with the company.
Team Collaboration:Foster teamwork through effective communication and problem-solving with both internal and external stakeholders.
Sales Support:Offer administrative and analytical aid to sales managers, oversee quotation generation, manage sales opportunities, and assist with bid documentation and reporting.
Contract Coordination:Prepare and manage contract setup sheets based on dispatch information and sales data, ensuring all customer documentation is complete for shipping.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Proactive and resilient, with the ability to foresee and address issues promptly.
Excellent organizational skills, with the capacity to handle shifting priorities and work schedules.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, across all levels.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP; CRM, SRM, VIM knowledge is beneficial.
Adept at working independently, with a strong focus on results and customer service.
Physical ability to perform job duties, including occasional travel and exposure to industrial environments.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform physical tasks as needed.
Willingness to work in various conditions, including extreme temperatures, noise, and dust.
Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
Traveling as required by management.
Required Experience: Minimum 2 - 4 years of customer service experience, utilizing SAP or similar ERP in mining, shipping, and/or heavy manufacturing environment.
Required Education: High School Diploma or GED. AA degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Finance, Engineering, or technical-related field or equivalent work experience in customer-focused positions.
