LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a qualified Litigation Legal Assistant for a busy firm in New York, NY. This role will be supporting attorneys in general civil litigation matters. The role is direct hire, full-time, and fully onsite with the possibility of becoming hybrid.
Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate Table of Contents (TOC) and Table of Authorities (TOA)
Conduct thorough cite checking to ensure accuracy
Manage calendars and scheduling
Edit and format legal documents, including but not limited to briefs, memos, and correspondence
Enter attorney timesheets
Assist with document management and electronic filing systems.
Qualifications
3 years of experience with civil litigation
Experience with TOC, TOA, and cite checking
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
