As a Bilingual Medical Receptionist, you play a pivotal role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support. You will be responsible for checking in patients, verifying, and updating information, and processing payments for self-pay patients.
Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients, obtaining and updating necessary information in the Radiology Information System.
Receive and log payments for self-pay patients, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.
Assist in the opening process of the clinic, ensuring readiness for patient appointments.
Serve as a backup for the greeter and scheduler as needed.
Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Obtain medical information from patients and update or verify information in the Radiology Information System.
A minimum of 2 years experience in office administration in a healthcare setting
Act as a liaison between patients and medical support staff, addressing inquiries and facilitating communication
Bilingual in Spanish, required.
