IT Project Manager Position at LHH Client

Location : Hybrid (New York City) - The role requires being on-site three days per week with flexibility to come on-site more frequently as needed.

About the Role :

Our client, a prestigious LHH partner, is on the hunt for a dynamic IT Project Manager to spearhead their innovative projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of IT initiatives, driving team efficiency, and maintaining alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives.

Core Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, defining tasks, resources, schedules, and budgets.
• Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, management, and external vendors/partners to ensure clear communication and project alignment.
• Foster a collaborative team environment, assigning responsibilities, and setting expectations to maximize productivity.
• Implement effective risk management strategies to minimize project risks.
• Utilize project management software to track progress and address any issues that arise.
• Report on project progress, challenges, and outcomes to senior management, providing actionable insights for decision-making.

Core Skills & Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in roles such as project manager, business analyst, project coordinator, or other IT management positions.
• Advanced understanding of operating systems, network administration, and service desk administration.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to a non-technical audience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse team, including employees and vendor/partners, with a clear definition of responsibilities and expectations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with a proven track record of managing projects successfully within allotted timelines and budgets.
• Proficiency in using project management software to effectively manage resources, timelines, and deliverables.

Nice to Haves :

• Experience with Monday.com (or similar PM tool)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
