Summary:

Child Mind Institute is seeking a highly skilled and dependable individual to join our team as a IT Project Manager that will serve the entire organization.The IT Project Manager is responsible for leading project management service for the IT Department and Child Mind Institute at the enterprise level. The IT Project Manager will ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. The IT Project Manager will serve as a liaison between the IT Department and the business units.

Reporting to the Director of Applications, this is a non-exempt, full-time position located at our NYC headquarters. We offer competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and/or Computer Information Systems (or related degree) and 4 years of relevant work experience as a project manager, business analyst, project coordinator and/or other IT management positions

• Advanced computer skill and in-depth knowledge of different operating systems, cybersecurity, network administration and service desk administration
• Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals (Project Management Professional - PMP certification required) and experience working in a project management office (preferred).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues.
• Ability to manage a team of employees and vendor/partners, develop a project scheduling and define individual responsibilities within the project
• Strong communication, organizational and time management skills to keep projects on track and within budget and to hold resources accountable for their deliverables.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle any issues that occur during the lifecycle of the project.

• Excellent judgment and creative issue-resolution skills, including conflict resolution
