Accounts Receivable SpecialistLHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable professional for a growing client in the Greater Cincinnati area. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of recent ASR experience along with excellent communication skills and strong Microsoft excel experience. This position is temp to hire and will pay between $19 and $25/hr.Responsibilities:

• Generate invoices accurately and in a timely manner based on sales orders and contracts.
• Verify the accuracy of billing data to prevent discrepancies and errors.
• Coordinate with the sales and shipping departments to ensure invoices are issued promptly and reflect accurate information regarding products, quantities, and prices.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports to track outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.
• Communicate with customers regarding payment reminders, payment terms, and resolution of billing disputes.
• Process customer payments received via various channels, such as checks, electronic transfers, and credit card payments.
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Evaluate creditworthiness of new customers by conducting credit checks and analyzing credit history.
• Establish credit limits and terms for customers in accordance with company policies.
• Review and assess credit risks associated with existing customers and recommend appropriate actions, such as adjusting credit limits or placing accounts on hold.
• Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, including aging analysis, collection forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Analyze trends and patterns in accounts receivable data to identify opportunities for process improvements and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with the finance team to provide insights and recommendations for optimizing cash flow and reducing DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred, but not required.
• Proven experience 2 in accounts receivable, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including revenue recognition and credit management.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with internal teams and external customers.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities to resolve billing discrepancies and collection issues.
