- Prepare and analyze financial statements for manufacturing operations, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
- Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
- Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement and implement corrective actions, as necessary.
- Conduct regular variance analysis to understand deviations from budgeted costs and develop strategies to address them.
- Oversee inventory accounting processes, including valuation, reconciliation, and physical inventory counts.
- Work closely with procurement and production teams to ensure accurate recording of inventory transactions and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimize excess inventory and mitigate inventory risks.
- Assist in the development of manufacturing budgets and forecasts, incorporating input from various departments and stakeholders.
- Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets and provide explanations for variances.
- Participate in the annual budgeting process and provide financial insights to support strategic planning initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls related to manufacturing operations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and reconciliations as needed.
- Recommend and implement improvements to internal control processes to enhance financial integrity and mitigate risks.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on manufacturing or cost accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cost accounting principles, and inventory management.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends effectively.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and precision in financial reporting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence decision-making.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
