• Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
• Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence
• Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients’ needs after analysis
• Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff
• Preside over paralegals, administrative assistants in connection with keeping track of time records, reviewing client billing, setting up client meetings and completing client projects

• Build client cases, verifying that all client injuries, damages, and other losses have been documented and are being presented for maximum recovery
• Develop a strategic approach and provide leadership and direction to paralegals and legal assistants
• Analyze case-specific legal issues and documentation (e.g. insurance policies, lien language, settlement releases)
• Regularly consult with clients, adjusters, experts, and other parties as needed to effectively move cases forward to settlement
• Foster and maintain an excellent rapport with clients through consistent communication and thorough advisement
• Appear on virtual and in-person depositions and hearings

• Graduation from law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and experience in representing clients for at least 2 years
• Jobseekers should be a member of their local bar association - active member preferred Association
• Over 1 year of experience representing clients in a law firm
• Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision
• Public speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role

• Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
• Must have prior litigation experience - including at least one trial to a jury and taking 20 deposition
• Must be licensed to practice law in Colorado
• Must be in good standing with the Colorado BAR Association
