Busy Greensboro law firm seeks an office assistant to fill the primary duties noted below. These responsibilities are not conclusive and subject to change as needs arise:
• Processing all incoming and outgoing mail
• Filling in at front desk answering phones, greeting clients, and taking payments
• Delivering/retrieving legal documents from courthouse, clients, businesses, etc. around Greensboro and surrounding counties
• Coordinating firm events including ordering food, decorating, setting up and taking down
• Assistance with clerical function of the hiring process; posting jobs, coordinating and scheduling interviews
• Scanning paperwork into various databases
• Filing for various departments
• Working closely and professionally with a team of attorneys and administrative staff providing general clerical support
• Must work efficiently under deadlines and be comfortable multitasking
• Must be able to sit/stand for long periods of time and ability to lift up to 20lbs
• Must be punctual, dependable and have reliable transportation with a clean driving record Mileage for courier trips is reimbursed at the current IRS rate

This position is full-time in the office Monday – Friday from 9 am – 6 pm. Starting salary commensurate with experience. We offer full benefits and performance based bonuses after completion of 90 day probationary period.
