Lakeside Neurologic is currently interviewing for the position of Chef. Chefs are important team members that perform the following duties at the facility:
The work schedule for this position is:
Shift 1- 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with rotating weekends - Full time with excellent benefit package
Shift 2 -10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. with rotating weekends-Full time with excellent benefit package.
Requirements for this position are AS Culinary Arts. Previous experience in a hospital setting, skilled nursing facility, school or commercial cleaning is preferred.
Qualifications:
- AS Culinary Arts preferred .
- A minimum of 2 yrs experience in high quantity prepping and cooking.
- Serve Safe and Food Manager Certification preferred
- Must be able to work well with others.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals for clients and staff.
- Works in heat and busy environment of the kitchen area and functions within structured time lines.
- Stands and walks short distance most of the day.
- Must be able to stoop for, reach for, and lift kitchen equipment and supplies,
- Must be able to lift article in excess of 50 lbs throughout the day.
- Shifts are from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday-Saturday

Lakeside Neurologic is currently offering a $1500 Sign On Bonus for FT Chef Candidates. The sign on bonus is paid as follows:
- $750.00 on six month anniversary
- $750.000 on the anniversary of one year of employment.
