Lakeside TLF PED, LLC, located on 900 acres, in beautiful central Florida, is currently accepting resumes for the position of Pediatric Program Director. Lakeside TLF PED, LLC, treats pediatric survivors of traumatic brain injury. Lakeside TLF PED, LLC is a 16 bed inpatient rehabilitation facility that provides residential, educational and behavioral services.

Qualifications: Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology is preferred for this position. Master’s degree in psychology, Mental Health, Social Work or Educational Leadership and Florida DOE Educator’s certificate with Educational Leadership endorsement is required. Must maintain all state certification, credentials & requirements.3 years experience in school administration and education with strong interpersonal and organizational skills and development of systems of care required. Demonstrated abilities in interpersonal oral and written communication and leadership are required. Previous rehabilitation management and insurance experience is desirable.

Working Conditions: Works primarily Monday through Friday but must be flexible for off-hour and weekend monitoring and emergencies. Must be able to work flexible hours and be on-call and respond to any on-call needs. Must be available to travel for funder, family, or marketing meetings. Work supervises and tour areas for the program of clients in any setting considered to be a residential or training area for caseload.

General Duties: School Administrator, provides direction and supervision of clinical treatment plans, Individualized Educational Plans and client protocols. Coordinates, directs, and supervises the client care to assure procedures, treatments and referrals are completed in a timely manner. At the time of admission, collaborates with treatment team members for development of functional outcome goals and discharge planning. Completes monthly treatment team meetings with client and/or family input. Implement and utilize student’s Individual Education Plan. Identifies or develops long-term goals and short-term objectives. Plan and prepare instructional activities and work for students. Establish and use current behavior management techniques, which are appropriate and effective. Maintain a positive, organized, and safe learning environment. Oversee all members of the Educational Department. Ensures the safety and well-being of clients and that program is in compliance with Educational, AHCA, CARF and Joint Commission Standards.

Lakeside Neurologic is currently offering a $5000 Sign-On Bonus for this position. The sign-on bonus is paid as follows:

• $2500.00 on six month anniversary
• $2500.00 on the anniversary of one year of employment.
