JF Restaurants is looking for experienced Barbacks for La Marchande at the Wall Street Hotel .

As a Barback, you are responsible for helping Bartenders keep the bar clean and organized by bussing bar areas, keeping glasses and other bar equipment clean, product well-stocked and maintain storage areas.

Maintaining Department of Health standards at all times.

Responsibilities :

• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area and the entire venue.
• Possesses general knowledge of all food and beverage menus, and company policies & procedures.
• Assist service team with beverage and food service
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of all back-of-house storage areas and refrigeration units according to company standards.
• Responsible for keeping all liquor displays and shelving organized and maintaining par levels
• Properly sets-up the bar stations, performs side-work and other opening / closing procedures as directed by management
• Prepare necessary garnishes, syrups, juices, and / or batches
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as per business needs
• Complete all assigned side work as assigned by Management

Requirements :

• Passion for cocktails and understanding of different ingredients
• Previous experience in a similar role or hospitality environment
• Knowledge of menu and operations
• Great customer service, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Experience in a fast-paced, high volume environment and ability to multi-task and work under pressure while still being detail oriented and personable
• Good organizational skills, as well as strong attention to detail
• Ability to read, write and speak proficient English
• Must have open availability

Please be advised, the hourly rate is $16.00 per hour less a $5.35 tip credit.
