Responsibilities:
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders and prepare a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely delivery of drinks and addressing any customer concerns or requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and providing change
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe working environment
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for customers
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred
- Strong cash handling skills, including the ability to accurately count money and make change
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, such as Aloha POS, is a plus
- Knowledge of bartending techniques and drink recipes
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods
- Basic math skills for calculating drink prices, handling cash, and managing inventory
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
