Anthology Events is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Banquet Bartender. Candidates must have a friendly and professional demeanor, work well on a team, and be comfortable on their feet for several hours at a time.

Additional duties include but are not limited to:

• Serves drinks while maintaining a clean and sanitary bar area.

• Strong attention to detail and presentation of each order.

• Prepares and maintains ingredients by following recipes.

• Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks. 

• Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.

• Adheres to proper alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all beverage items.

• Coordinates daily supply inventory for the bar and submits orders to supervisor; assists with receipt of deliveries.

• Ensures smooth operation of bar services during absence of manager.

• Completes cleaning according to daily and weekly schedules, including dishwashing as needed.

• Experience and expertise in fine dining service styles including set-up and breakdown.

• Polished presentation and communication with VIP clients and management.. 

• Full knowledge of event operations, menu, and policies.

• Problem- solvers with the ability to manage a bar in the absence of a manager. 

• Create a detailed “Pull and Polish” list prior to events. 

• Understands how to read and articulate BEOs

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum of 3 years of Banquet bar or restaurant bartending including drink preparation and batching. 

• Accurate knowledge of Classic Cocktails and Wine. 

• Current beverage service certification or other certification as required by federal/state/local law.

• Familiar with point-of-sale computers and software.

• Exceptional customer service skills.

• Maintain high energy throughout events amongst clients and staff. 

• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time.

• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
