The Miami office of Kubicki Draper is currently seeking a paralegal with 3 years of civil litigation experience. Prior insurance defense is required. Experience in the areas of construction insurance coverage and pre-suit highly desired.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Must be proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office and Excel
- Draft and review vital pleadings and motions, respond to discoveries, and drive motions
- Communicate in a highly effective manner with colleagues and clients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
The Miami office of Kubicki Draper is currently seeking a Litigation Paralegal with three or more years of prior Insurance Defense experience. Background in pre-suit, civil litigation, construction, a plus.
Qualifications:
•Prior experience in insurance defense litigation and/or general liability, preferred
•Prior experience in reviewing and summarizing medical records and bills, preferred
•Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong organizational skills needed
•Working knowledge of Florida Court procedures preferred
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
•Summarize medical records, bills and supporting documents, as well as create medical chronologies and bill summaries
•Communicate with clients, carriers, and counsel effectively in a team environment
•Competent in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Adobe & Excel
•Must be task orientated.
•Ability to work independently in a fast paced friendly environment
