The Ward Law Group, PL is Hiring a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal Near Miami, FL

As a Litigation Paralegal here at Ward Law Group, you will be working in a fast-paced, growing work environment where you will be responsible for delivering a world-class client experience that will make a lasting impact on our community. You will be a crucial element to the Litigation team, helping our team prepare for trial to achieve the justice and compensation our clients deserve for their personal injuries.

You will manage all the details throughout every phase of the case – from investigations to pleadings and discovery and you will work very closely with attorneys, assisting with depositions and follow ups with medical providers.

Attorney duties but not limited are:

  • Managing discovery and exhibits for litigation matters.
  • Preparing documents for depositions, hearings, mediations and trial to assist attorneys.
  • Ensure clients are regularly seeing orthopedic doctors (or specialists such as neurologists) as needed and following up no less than every 2-3 to document pain.
  • Ensuring the damages/medical bills tab in our online CRM is complete and current.
  • Assisting in the gathering of information for, and preparation of, discovery responses.
  • Ordering of all medical records and bills.
  • Includes persistent following up with requests to ensure quick receipt.
  • Organization of all medical records by provider and each provider must be in chronological order.
  • Ensuring the file is kept well organized, documents are named properly, and that information is kept up to date in our online system.
  • Monthly courtesy calls with clients to provide updates and check in with clients to see how they are.
  • Working with attorneys, paralegals, and other office staff in a professional manner.

Attorney Job Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be able to speak English and Spanish fluently.
  • Candidate must have (3) years minimum of experience in litigation.
  • Candidate must have Professionalism and prioritization of client customer service and representation.
  • Candidate must have intense research, verbal and written communication, and people skills.
  • Candidate must have excellent attention to detail.
  • Candidate must have the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Candidate must have the ability to work independently.

  • Salary range between $40,000 to $50,000 per year. (Based on experience)
  • Working Schedule: Monday through Friday.
