Job Duties Description: Primarily provide support to a counselor in Overland Park Vocational Rehabilitation by taking notes at meetings., assisting with TTY and other phone calls, and providing other clerical support as needed. Also provides clerical support to the Overland Park unit as needed during any down time.
Preferred Screening Criteria: Proficiency in operation of personal computer, typing, and ability to use Microsoft Office software including Word, Teams, Outlook, and Excel. High school graduate. One year experience in rehabilitation or in a clerical position in a medical-related field preferred. Education may be substituted for experience as determined by the agency

Qualifications:
Education: General
Minimum Qualifications: One (1) year experience in general office, clerical, and administrative support work. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency
Post-Offer, Pre-employment Requirements:
· Security Clearance: A background check (KBI - criminal background, welfare fraud, driver's license and Child/Adult Abuse and Neglect Central Registry) is required for all positions with the Department for Children and Families (DCF) as a condition of employment, which may include fingerprinting and FBI check. Security clearance must be obtained prior to employment with DCF. Must maintain security clearance throughout employment.
· Tax Clearance: If offered a position of employment, a valid/current Kansas Tax Clearance Certificate must be submitted. Visit the KDOR Tax Clearance Request Information pagefor more information.
Compensation:
$12.35/ hour up to 999 hours/year. Salary may be dependent upon the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
