Job Duties Description: Provides support for multiple programs in the Overland Park DCF Service Center by assisting professional staff in the coordination of services in order to facilitate an efficient workflow for the BPR process. Registers applications, by accessing the agency automated systems, analyzing application and system information to resolve problems and avoid duplication.
Provides a high level of service to customers to assist in achievement of the agency mission and goals and be familiar with agency programs and guidelines; be able to communicate effectively and positively with customers and ensure the needs of the customer are met by directing them appropriately to services.
Performs receptionist duties for the office as part of a team rotation, enters appropriate information onto the lobby tracker and inform customer of the next step. Answers and transfers telephone calls using multiline telephone system.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualification: Education: High School education or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications: Experience or education in computer/data entry- Experience working with the public- DCF experience

· Security Clearance: A background check (KBI - criminal background, welfare fraud, driver's license and Child/Adult Abuse and Neglect Central Registry) is required for all positions with the Department for Children and Families (DCF) as a condition of employment, which may include fingerprinting and FBI check. Security clearance must be obtained prior to employment with DCF. Must maintain security clearance throughout employment.

Compensation:
$13.61 hourly Salary may be dependent upon the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
