Opportunity

As the Senior Communications Manager for Human Resources, you will ensure effective communication with our employees during times of change, growth, and transformation. You will work closely with Human Resources to develop and execute strategic communication plans that engage, inform, and support our employees throughout their journey with our organization.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements comprehensive communication strategies that align with HR initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging and a clear understanding of HR programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Guides the organization through significant changes, such as mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and policy updates, by creating communication plans that minimize disruption and foster a positive employee experience.
  • Fosters a culture of transparency and trust by designing and executing communication campaigns that engage employees, boost morale, and enhance overall job satisfaction.
  • Creates and curates content for various communication channels, including emails, newsletters, intranet, and social media platforms, ensuring that all materials are clear, concise, and aligned with company values.
  • Develops crisis communication plans and protocols in collaboration with HR and leadership, ensuring that employees are informed and supported during challenging situations.
  • Establishes feedback mechanisms to gather input from employees and use their insights to continuously improve HR communications and initiatives.
  • Ensures that all HR communications adhere to legal requirements and industry standards, particularly in areas like data privacy and employment laws.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and leadership, to ensure consistent and effective communication across the organization.
  • Monitors the impact and effectiveness of communication initiatives through analytics and feedback, making data-driven improvements as needed.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, communication, or public relations required, with a preference towards a master’s degree.
  • 5 years of experience in corporate communications, with a focus on employee-facing communications and change management. Strong understanding of HR practices, policies, and procedures. Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms. High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The salary range for this position is $110,050 - $140,200. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
