Associate Manager IT, Identity & Access, Kohler Energy

Work Mode: Hybrid

The Associate Manager – IT, Identity & Access isresponsible for developing and implementing robust identity and accessmanagement (IAM) strategies and solutions to protect our organization's digitalresources. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams toensure that our information systems are secure, compliant with regulatorystandards, and accessible to authorized personnel. Your role will be pivotal inminimizing risks associated with unauthorized access while facilitatingefficient workflow processes.

  • Overseethe day-to-day operations of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team.
  • Leadthe design, implementation, and maintenance of IAM solutions, includingidentity provisioning, authentication, authorization, and privilege management.
  • Collaboratewith cross-functional teams to integrate IAM controls into existing and newsystems, applications, and processes.
  • Conductregular access reviews and audits to ensure compliance with security policiesand regulations.
  • MonitorIAM systems for security incidents and anomalies, investigate and respondpromptly to security breaches or violations.
  • Provideguidance and support to end-users, administrators, and other stakeholders onIAM-related issues and best practices.
  • Stayup-to-date with emerging technologies, threats, and trends in IAM andcybersecurity to continuously enhance the company's security posture.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains an IAM strategy, policies, and procedures. Manages user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access requests. Ensures user identities are accurately verified and authenticated.
  • Administers access controls, roles, and permissions for various systems and applications. Monitors and audits user access to detect and mitigate unauthorized activities. Implements single sign-on (SSO) solutions to enhance user convenience and security.
  • Ensures compliance with industry-specific regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX). Regularly assesses and updates security policies to meet evolving threats and standards.
  • Identifies security risks related to identity and access management. Develops and executes strategies to mitigate identified risks effectively
  •  Evaluates and selects IAM tools and technologies that align with organizational goals. Oversees the implementation of IAM solutions and integration with existing systems.
  • Provides training and support to end-users on IAM processes and best practices. Offers assistance with access-related issues and inquiries.
  • Develops and maintains an incident response plan related to identity and access breaches. Coordinates with the cybersecurity team in the event of security incidents.
  • Maintains thorough records of identity and access management activities. Generates regular reports for senior management on IAM performance and security posture. 

Skills/Requirements

·Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.


5 years of experience in identity and access management, with a proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing IAM solutions.
Strong understanding of IAM concepts, principles, and technologies, such as identity lifecycle management, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and role-based access control (RBAC).
Experience with IAM platforms and tools such as Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Okta, SailPoint, or similar.
Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, ISO 27001).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are a plus.
