Kinn Consulting is Hiring a New Business Development Manager Near Edison, NJ

Kinn Consulting is looking for an experienced, result driven Business Development Manager, who will be responsible for growing revenue through targeting and developing new business accounts with a focus on delivering IT staffing services to the small, mid-size to fortune companies. Must be self-motivated, driven and able to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment. Must have a proven track record in prospecting, establishing and maintaining profitable account relationships selling IT staffing / Projects.

Develop new customers and grow current client base by marketing our services for temporary and/or temporary-to- full-time staffing solutions; market to clients via telephone as well as to conduct in-person meetings with key managers to senior-level executives, for the purpose of sales of our services to prospective clients and building on existing client relationships.

Job Title: Business Development Manager - IT

  • Location: NJ/NY/PA
  • Duration: Full Time
  • Experience: IT Sales: 5 years (Preferred), IT business development: 3 years In IT Staffing & Services.
  • Education: Bachelors, MBA or Masters (Preferred)
  • Salary: Attractive Base plus commission
  • Travel to client locations is required for this job.

Your responsibilities would include, but not limited to:

  • Consistently generating and increasing revenues through the acquisition of new and clients/businesses.
  • The candidate must have a proven track record of outstanding sales performance and a well-defined approach for hunting and closing new business.
  • Generate new business through telephone calls and participation in networking organizations/events and successfully expand and maintain an existing client base.
  • Drive customer acquisition and expansion, focusing on both business development activities as well as account management through managing, directing and working effectively with the recruiting teams.
  • Develops strong relationships with Client’s hiring managers, understand their business and staffing needs, and ensuring the company meets the requirements and expectations.
  • Sets up discovery calls to analyze client needs and to make staffing recommendations.
  • Own the relationship with the client - drive the entire sales cycle, manage client questions/escalations, and pursue opportunities to expand scope and services.
  • Build relationships with consultants on assignment with clients to monitor engagement and develop deeper understanding of the client.
  • Manage the development of persuasive proposals, Statements of Work and responses to Requests for Information, Quotes, and Proposals.
  • Experience acquiring business through Managed Service Provider (MSP) / Direct Client acquisition
  • Utilize consultative selling techniques that have a focus in delivering IT staffing services & Projects.
  • Travel to client locations is required for this job.

Required Skills

  • 5 years of previous in Business Development of IT staffing experience including selling SOW projects and Professional Services.
  • Demonstrated quota achievement in selling IT staffing & professional services.
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships
  • Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction
  • Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills
  • People-oriented
  • Achievement-oriented -- enjoys taking on challenges, even if they might fail
  • Autonomous/Independent -- enjoys working with little direction
  • Innovative -- prefers working in unconventional ways or on tasks that require creativity
